textileowlSo, Oscar spent the last three days at the vet because he dripped urine on me when I had picked and it smelled worse than the usual sort of urine. He went to the vet and proceeded to not give them a sample for three days. Silly cat. But he is now home, after getting poked with a needle and everything coming out clean.
I'm sure he's going to be upset with me for a few days, and then when we move, he will be upset with me for a few more days but it will all work out.
Work is going pretty good, we seem to have settled in for a bit, after getting an awesome new girl and it is just the three of us again. As much as I complain about working, I enjoy the people I work with and doing something productive. It's not what I would want to do for my entire life, but then again I'm not sure I've the attention span to do anything extremely long term.
I got my JoAnn's giftcard worked out and now in hand again. Which is money I won't have to actually spend on garb. Still deciding on next year's costuming and want to try out some new mundane clothing too but am a bit scared to try working without patterns and just go with what I want. I keep telling myself it requires a dress form and since I don't have one it would be better to just not try.
Umm...let's see...what else? Aug 24th- move in to new place Labor Day weekend- Michigan Renaissance Festival...class begins sometime in the third week of September...
