Still working at Meijer's, second shift and basically whereever Sue wants me to be...which is everywhere..

Nothing from the temp agencies...I'm calling again tomorrow.

Have a somewhat under the table job helping a band mom with the small embroidery shop she owns. That happens for two hours before work tomorrow.

Corset is patterned and halfway stitched. It still needs lacing holes, boning and a finished top edge. Hoopskirts are going to be the same cornflower blue cotton...I've decided it was a good color.

Both my Robin Hobb books came this week.

We now have DSL!!

My sewing machine and my mother's both do not quite work. Just enough to frustrate me. I have a buttonholer that specifically says it is for my machine and doesn't fit...thankfully it was a Goodwill find and only cost three dollars. But it has all the pieces and should fit my mom's...if only it didn't skip stitches on zigzag.

Am ready to be back in C-bus with everyone.

I have another dentist appt. in two Mondays...yay.

But at least I have air conditioning.

I hope the Fourth of July goes better this year than it did last year...

This is the first day in three I believe, that hasn't had a thunderstorm rippling through the afternoon. Damn.
