You would think with the majority of people having been divorced/remarried/or simply have children without being married, that the billing company of a gynecology office would not mix up the last names of their clients. Yes, the person who I can claim insurance under has that last name. It doesn't mean that it is my last name, look on the damn bill you got it right there! But sending the claim to the insurance company under the wrong name means I get a bill saying that I still owe $249. The bill has my correct name on it. My insurance website has the wrong name in the client box for the pending claim. No wonder it's been pending for over a month. And they have the gall to close at 4:00 on a weekday so I have to leave a message explaining this to them rather than being able to get it fixed.
