Michigan Renaissance Faire Trip details

Sept 1 - 4

Staying at Red Roof Inn

Food thoughts for the driving bits
sandwiches- sliced meats, bread, cheese for those who like it
snacky sugary foods easy to eat while driving- Oreos, cupcakes, etc.
drinks - pop, juice, water, caffeinated but no dehydrating

Food thoughts for lunches and one or two dinners during Faire
       juice/water
a corned beef, perhaps? easy to cook ahead and keep fairly cold
hard salami or other smoked sausages that keep well
cheese- goat, bacterial grown, mold= bad
       fruits- apples, grapes?
bread- time to make it? or let Jan or I try something...I'm just not a fancy bread maker.*grin*

Any other ideas, comments,  or thoughts?

Let's see here:

car stuff: i've got some cookies, and frosted mini-wheats (2 boxes), some granola bars (although by unwrapping those we could prolly have them during faire). i agree on the sandwiches and water.

faire stuff: i'm making hard-boiled eggs to bring. i can make a soda bread. it's filling, just a little crusty. the other ideas sound good. let me know what i can do?

Hi guys!

I'll be making/bringing stuff that is shareable, but I'm waiting on family input before making any decisions. HUGS!
