I love timezones and the ability to watch new Doctor Who with my dinner(supper?), just like the Brits did six hours ago.

I love the faire themes people have come up with and hope that people don't get discouraged by the email from our current Marshal. She has been entirely too serious for it to be much fun this year.

I wish that my real life and Guild life weren't at complete opposites currently and in the future. I would love to be able to do another year, but I know it's better for myself not to.

Other than that, may the best and most creative Faire plot win! Personally, I'm rooting for Shakespeare. He's been gone too long from Buck's eye Hollow.

I disagree, the idea of a plausible, period theme for Faire is what separates us from any other theatre group. Beyond that, basing a story oddly off of something like Aladin, Zelda or the Little Mermaid is just asking for trouble in terms of plot development.

A script is what deviates us from other theatre groups. We write the script and occasionally deviate from it as well. It's called improv acting. the other thing is that we are doing this all day long, not for three hours and then call it quits.

We've never had a plausible period theme, it doesn't work for Renaissance faires. We'd be stuck with passion plays and morality plays from the "period" which considering our group, wouldn't be any fun.
