Aug. 9th, 2007 01:27 pmThree weeks since the last post, I really haven't gotten much better about posting, have I?
Let's see...
Birthday- happened, I'm now 22. The swag included a serger, a promise of a Three Feathers drinking vessel, an antique steel and ivory knife and fork set for feasting that has it's own leather case and a lovely embroidered art nouveau tulip on the front, and $50 gift card.
School and work are going fairly well. Trying to not fail Econ 200 but I still have a good chance of passing as long as I do well on the final...so that equals relearning everything so that I feel that I know it. Business writing has been an interesting class, even if it's somewhat boring. I know that it is something that I will need to know for work eventually or should I ever decide I need to go to grad school.
I actually like working at David's Bridal. My coworkers are not annoying enough that I dislike going to work, and neither are most of the customers. There are the occasional bad days though and they make me wonder why I ever went into customer service.

We have a new place to live, signed the lease last Friday. It's a 1950's half double with basement, wood floors, gas stove, and backs up on a park at the river. It's pretty. I get the keys on the 25th and I want to be out of this apartment by the 28th, since our landlord wants a couple of days to get the place ready for the new tenants. I think I can manage it.
I'm excited about moving, getting a roomate that I have a chance of seeing most of the time we are both home and that won't be too annoying. One that I know will motivate me to get some of my own things finished (like the farthingale for my nobles, finishing my mids, getting started on some hot weather gear in linen, coifs, hats, sleeves, the jacket for my mids, some mundane clothes, some late 18th stuff that I was to play in...this list just kept getting longer and longer)
It should prove interesting in the least.
And now I'm off to enjoy some
flohchica time, as I will be out of town all weekend at the Salt Fork Festival helping Jeff and his sister vend.
