I came home to a CTRL key from my laptop snapped off and the lovely little plastic pieces that hold it onto my laptop sitting neatly beside it.
My first thought was that someone pulled it off, while using it, but the last person to use it was me, so that doesn't make any sense. The second thought is that one of the cats, while running across it, snagged a toenail and ripped off the key, what doesn't make sense there is how the plastic pieces ended up neatly beside my computer, unless it was a major fluke.
And the only way to get those things off is to break one of them, so the question is...how do I get someone to get me a new piece?
