textileowlI so want a new computer....
Granted I suppose I should just blame myself for the now defunct keyboard. That's what I get for leaving water out around a kitten. Oscar doesn't bother glasses, but apparently Allie does. So now I have a keyboard where the "1" key turns off my computer, the space bar doesn't work, and countless other things I haven't learned yet because everytime I try to type something I accidently hit the 1 button and the shut down sequence starts. Plus Firefox has been doing stupid things like finding errors and deciding to shut down after I just opened it. It starts slow and takes forever to get anything opened and moving decently, even now getting a page online to download is getting bad. I run defrag and things like virus scan nearly every week so it is not something actively worng with the computer it's just getting too old to keep up with things.
I've been practically guarenteed a new laptop for my birthday but now I'm starting to wonder if it would be possible to get it about four months early, like before Spring Quarter starts... That is something I'll have to discuss with my mom tonight when she calls.
This week is finals week and I haven't even gotten started on anything that could be called studying. Math is on Monday, after working from 8-2. Tuesday I'm working again, Wednesday I managed to get out of working and Thursday I have Consumer Perspective and Econ right after one another. Friday and Saturday I've off and then it is back to work for six days 9-1:30. Not too bad but well, doesn't mean I'll like it either.
