So, I have an interview at Vector Marketing today at 3:30 pm, after only putting in an online application last night around ten. Wow. Apparently base pay is something like 13. 7, so I'mnot really complaining but I realize I really don'
t have anything to even wear to an interview but for pants, simply because I was required to have black pants for work to begin with. So I'll let everyone know how it went when I get back...I still need to shower and run to Khol's to get a shirt.

Edit: Due to the overwhelmingly discontent told to me about Vector, not even going to the interview now. Besides, three hours is crap.

OMG...don't go. I swear to you it is such a scam. I did that job 3 summers ago - you sell kitchen knives. I mean, if you really like sales or if you're super motivated and like to call people you don't know - go for it. Otherwise, it's a waste of 3 hours (they give you the sales pitch during your "interview") and $150 (they make you buy a set of knives to take with you). Then you have to call a bunch of people, set appointments and go to their homes to show them knives. Big sharp knives. And the $13 an hour is a scam, too. They pay you $13 for every appointment that you go to because they say it should take about an hour for the sale.

If any of this sounds good to you, though (it was slow torture for me) then don't worry about a skirt. Just wear the black pants and a nice shirt because it's mostly business casual - you just have to look presentable.

Well, thanks for the warning, I really didn't want to have to sit through three hours of crap. At least I got a new shirt out of the deal.

hehe...new shirts are a good thing. I hope you find something that's a not a scam, though.
