Dude...I was just sitting here working on my dress a few minutes ago and a huge and gorgeous hawk just landed in the tree outside of my window *drools*. It's gone now but it was one of the few times I wished I had a camera with me.

Hawk...makes me wish I was back at my parents' place, we get hawks all the time.

you know, at this point, I keep hearing about this dress and have yet to see any of it (save for your somewhat discoloured hands). I'm on the edge of my seat (and not just because a cat is sitting on the rest of it, I swear).

*can never make a smart reply to something like that without turning red*

your reply need not be too smart, a simple "yes" will do. (Although that particular response might be very, very smart indeed;) )

after all, my bedroom floor is what I use as a cutting table most of the time, so it wouldn't exactly be novel to have a sewing project there.

Well then...

And I have fabric confetti on my floor...But then there is also carpet so I couldn't have cut anything out on it anyway, though I have done so at home before. Once the dogs were outside and the cats otherwise occupied.
