So it's that time again. Scheduling for the next quarter happens tomorrow and I am frantically searching through my department to see what I need to take, what I can get away without taking and what I want to take. Believe me, those are big requirements after this quarter with my classes.
At this moment, my winter schedule looks like this:
The job hunt is still on. Wednesday, I think will see me up at Polaris and Easton filling out applications, at this point even 7.50 as a retail monkey is better than the nothing I'm getting now. There will probably be some shopping involved because I feel shabby compared to the people in my classes, and if I'm working at a mall....I'm going to need to look nice. Anyone want to help?

Hopefully it won't change between now and 7:30 tomorrow night and the two permissions I need for the 370 class and the theatre class. I shouldn't have a problem getting them, though, I have all the damned pre-reqs for the Fashion Illustration class finally, and the prof for the costume construction class knows me pretty well and knows I was interested in taking it this year, especially since the Theatre dept. is putting on Much Ado about Nothing in their winter line-up. Other than that, the current classes are going well. I passed my 20th Century fashion midterm with a 96/100 without the notes that everyone else in the class seemed to be so reliant on. Hm, guess that's what I get for having fashion history as a hobby. Though, now that we are in the 30's and 40's I don't know quite so much and hope to learn a bit more about more modern fashion.
My chem exam didn't go quite as well, but that was to be expected. I missed a lecture and didn't check that chapter, but I think I understand now what it was I missed and will just have to be a bit more thorough when it comes to studying. But I knew that, chem is a class that I like learning about, but it is something I need to practice and review. There is simply too much information otherwise.
I had a paper due in the Service management class that my partner and I finished in about 20 hours. A page every two hours. It isn't bad, but we won't know how well we did until next week. Also there is a midterm in a week and I haven't been reading the book, so I guess I'll start that after I finish up here.
My project for Photoshop turned out quite well, and now I am having difficulty figuring out how to make the issue come out in a Flash project. Hmm, I've a couple of weeks to work on it, but I'm just kinda stumped at the moment.
The sewing has been non-existent, which is frustrating. But anytime we've had to work on things at home, Jeff and I have been more content to simply be, and watch tv or something similar. He's been baking again, which is nice. It seems to help with the depression, so I'm encouraging it. It doe help that he's terrific at it. He made an oatmeal bread that toasted brilliantly. But back to sewing, I have the time, maybe tomorrow after class, I'll work on getting the table cleared off, and rearranging a bit so that the place is a bit more conducive to sewing. It doesn't require much, just a clear view of the tv. I want to get my blue and brown mids done, so that I can go back and finish some of the projects that have been stalled, like the two sets of sleeves I need to finish for my nobles and green wool mids, the jacket & hat for the green, the steampunk corset in blue and grey leather to match the hat Jeff made for me, the hoops for my nobles, and other things. It's become a rather extensive list.
