textileowlToday was fun. I didn't wake up until noon as I hadn't gone to bed
until three thirty or so because I was playing at Milliways. I do
vaguely recall waking up at eight and deciding to go back to sleep but
that was about it. Got up then to discover it snowing like hell was
breaking loose and decided to sew rather than brave going out to the
bookstore and return a book as well as get a book I'd had brought in.
My skirt is mostly finished but for the fact that I can wear it on my
shoulders and still have it hit the floor. Gotta love 56 inch wide
fabric. Tha might get fixed tomorrow after guild...we'll see. So I have
most of my garb done for Faire, but for the bodice and a pair of
moleskin bloomers. The bodice is the hard part, since it's out of
leather. Not played with it a whole lot and when I did, I broke needles
and wasn't allowed to play anymore. Anyways.
Today around five Kelly came and picked Heather and me up to go and hang out at her house for Girls' Night In, since we'd had a long and stressful week the lot of us. We ended up watching How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days, Moulin Rouge, and Ten thing I hate About You. There was alchohol involved and about the time Moulin Rouge came along, I was singing, but then again I always sing with Moulin Rouge, it being a favourite of mine. Though it did make me think a lot, which is never a good thing with a lot of alchohol in my system, or even none at all. I had reassurances from Kelly that made me feel better though.
Alright so I'm already on my third glass of water, which is probably a good thing after all the alchohol I've had. So I should be on my way to bed, what with Guild in the morning and everything else. Ciao.
