Jul. 10th, 2004 09:45 pmAlright, just spent an hilarious afternoon with my sister watching POA aka the new Harry Potter. I know, I know. I should've went earlier like a month ago when it came out but we hadn't gotten that far and Wednesday was Liz's birthday. Gawd, my ickle sister is 16 !! What am I going to do with her?
Anyway, absolutely loved the movie even with the cut scenes that were somewhat important, but I felt that they did a great job with getting the entire idea of the book. Malfoy is such slimy cowardly git that it just worked. Neville slimmed down a whole lot when he had his growth spurt. Kinda reminded me of my brother when he was twelve. He was dumpy then slimmed out when he shot up about half a foot. Nearly as tall as me the little bugger. Ron had me laughing the entire time, talking about having to chop off his foot after Padfoot chewed on it. I should remember more but I had a lot to take in and will have to watch it a couple more times...but after it comes on dvd.
